Frequently Asked Questions: 100% & 90%+ Battery Health Phones
What does "Battery: 100% (New)" mean on PRC refurbished iPhones?
It means either a virtually unused low-cycle flagship cell reading 100% capacity or a brand-new high-grade replacement battery installed and load-verified in our St Marys laboratory.
Why do marketplace refurbished phones often die mid-afternoon?
Many third-party marketplace sellers ship phones sitting at 80% or 81% health after 700+ charge cycles. Choosing a 90%+ or 100% (New) unit from PRC gives you full all-day endurance from day one.
Do you test motherboard power draw as well as battery percentage?
Yes. A healthy battery still drains fast if the charging IC has leakage, so our technicians verify normal standby sleep current as part of our 30-point diagnostic.
