PRC Phone Repair Centre shopfront at 122 Queen Street, St Marys

122 Queen Street, St Marys. Screens are graded and refurbished on site, not sent elsewhere.

Who this is for

Repair shops, resellers, refurbishers

If you replace screens all week, you are sitting on stock that has value. Most shops have a drawer or a box of them and nowhere sensible to send it.

This is not our phone buyback. Phone buyback covers whole working devices and is priced on a different basis. This page is screens, bought for refurbishing and reglassing.

Why traders keep sending

How we stay straight with you

Every screen is tested on its own. Flex cable shake, white, black and grey backgrounds, touch and 3D touch. Nothing is graded by sampling a box and assuming the rest.

If a screen is not Grade A we tell you why, using the same five categories every time. If you disagree with a grading, say so within seven days and we send that screen back. No argument.

We do not downgrade screens for financial gain. We are buying stock to refurbish, and a supplier who stops trusting us stops sending us screens.

!Rejected screens

Rejected screens carry nil value. Choose one:

  • Collect them from St Marys.
  • We post them back at your cost.
  • We post them back and deduct $20 postage from your payout.
  • We discard them.

Tell us within 7 days of the report. After 7 days they are discarded without further notice.

Straight answers

Questions we get asked

Who can sell screens to PRC?

Repair shops, resellers and refurbishers. This is a trade service. We buy in batches, not single screens over the counter.

Is this the same as your phone buyback?

No. Phone buyback is for whole working devices and is priced separately. This page is screens only, bought for refurbishing and reglassing.

Which screens do you buy?

iPhone, iPad, Galaxy S, Galaxy Note, Galaxy A, and Flip and Fold. Grade A and Grade B only.

What makes a screen Grade A or B?

Fully functional. No more than half the front glass cracked. No more than five dead pixels on a black background. Slight backlight or pressure marks are acceptable.

What gets rejected?

Not working, lines on the display, marks, dead pixels, or not qualified. That last one covers aftermarket screens, broken or leaking LCDs, broken display cables, touch faults, severe frame bends and flashing when the flex is moved.

How do I see your prices?

Log in with your mobile number. We text you a code. First time, we ask for your business details once. After that the number alone gets you in.

How do you test?

Every screen individually. Flex cable shake, white, black and grey backgrounds, touch and 3D touch. You get a report showing what was accepted and what was rejected.

What if I disagree with a grading?

Tell us within seven days and we return that screen to you. No argument, no obligation.

What happens to rejected screens?

They carry nil value. Collect them from St Marys, or we post them back at your cost, or we post them back and deduct twenty dollars postage from your payout. Tell us within seven days of the report or they are discarded.

Who pays for shipping?

We provide a free shipping label one way. Return shipping, if you want rejected screens back, is at your cost.
